Scholarship Announcement
2009-10
ACSA Region VII believes in supporting its members and students by providing several opportunities to earn scholarships. The Scholarship Committee consists of President–Elects from each charter. Scholarships will be awarded as follows:
Alex Winchester/Sue Richards Scholarship:
Objective: Promote and encourage professional growth of members
For: ACSA members/Professional Development
Amount: $500.00 each (2 for CEL, 2 for State Summit, 3 for Region Conference)
Due: CEL Due August 26, 2010
State Summit Due September 17, 2010
Region Conference Due March 1, 2011
***CEL Conference chair will be sent to the Summit from ACSA Region VII.

Ken Brown/Francine Gasper Scholarship
Objective: Assist children of ACSA members to pursue post high school endeavors
For: Children of ACSA members (12th grade and higher)
Amount: $1,000.00 each (3 awarded per year)
Due: March 1, 2011
Application: 2 letters of recommendation, essay, transcripts

Scholarships will not be awarded to the same individual for two conseutive years. Only one scholarship per ACSA member. Offer excludes Region Cabinet members, unless there is an extenuating circumstance as deemed by the Cabinet.
